When I first visited Malacca, I tried Nadeje, a bakery chain that originated in Malacca and specializes in Mille Crêpe or multi-layered crêpe cake. Their crêpe cakes had a nice mouthfeel, and I loved it!
So when I was researching for my recent Malacca trip, I stumbled upon video featuring a viral cafe that offers crêpe cakes. That cafe is Something Bakery.
The Facade of Something Bakery
Something Bakery is just a few minutes walk from the Dutch Square, the most famous attraction in Malacca. The cafe is housed in inside a historical building.
While the house may be historical, the interior has been renovated so that it looks modern.
Inside Something Bakery
You can choose from their Signature Series (Signature Original, Black Sesame, Coconut, Coffee, Dark Chocolate, Genmaicha, Macchiato Cheese, and Salted Caramel) or Premium Series (Chocolate Banana and Matcha Azuki).

We got three flavors. They taste exactly how they’re called. LOL. The several crêpe layers give a nice mouthfeel, and the cakes are rightly sweet.
Our Mille Crêpes
Dark Chocolate Mille Crêpe. It was my birthday when we went to Something Bakery!
They also make good coffee, which are perfect with the crêpe cakes.
Our Coffee at Something Bakery
Something Bakery makes good Mille Crêpes and brews good coffee. Plus, it’s the perfect shelter from the Malaccan heat and humidity. So when you’re in Malacca, make it one of your stops. I highly recommend it to you.
