Ramen Ron x Pilya’s Kitchen: These Two MICHELIN Spots Make a Spicy Collab!
At the start of this month, two of my favorite brands—Scratch and Rebel Bakehouse—collaborate to create amazing All-Day Brunch Specials (read my review here). But August isn’t done in giving us another collab!
Ramen Ron, the MICHELIN Selected ramen shop partly founded by the late Margarita Fores, and Pilya’s Kitchen, the MICHELIN Bib Gourmand Chinese noodle stall at The Grid Food Market (Power Plant Mall, Rockwell Center, Makati City), team up to make a spicy collab!
Ramen Ron Collaborates with Pilya’s Kitchen
This limited-time collab (only available from August 5-31, 2026) features three dishes: Dry Dan Dan Biang Biang Noodles, Mapo Tofu Ramen, and Mala Gyoza.
The Mapo Tofu Ramen has a broth that’s rightly thin, stay-in-the-mouth spicy, and a bit numbing. It’s also generous with ground meat.

The tofu is soft and silky but still retains some firmness, which I like.

The noodles are the crinkly kind. But I wish that it’s more chewier (which I requested in the first place).

The Mala Dumplings are like Ramen Ron’s juicy Gyoza but with a twist. It’s drenched in a spicy, sweet, and sour sauce. It’s serve with what I think is a rice batter crisp (or I mag be wrong), which add crunch to the dish.

Unfortunately, I won’t be able to try the Dry Dan Dan Biang Biang Noodles, because it’s only available on August 5 and 6 (at Ramen Ron BGC) and August 19 and 20 (at Ramen Ron Rockwell).
