Bungalow Cafe & Bakery: Your Place for Amazing Pastries and Fluffy Doughnuts in Molito (Alabang)

I’ve visited Bungalow Cafe & Bakery a few times but I haven’t written about my experience there. I feel like it deserves an article for its amazing pastries and fluffy doughnuts. So here you go!

Inside Bungalow Cafe & Bakery

Cakes and Pastries at Bungalow

Bungalow is located in Molito Lifestyle Center, which is a foodie paradise in Alabang, Muntinlupa City. It became wildly popular due to its fluffy, filled doughnuts.

On my first visit (at the height of its popularity), I made the rookie mistake of not pre-ordering their doughnuts. So on the next visit, I learned from my mistake. Bungalow’s Assorted Filled Doughnuts are among the fluffiest I have ever tried! The fillings vary per day and the ones I’ve tried are all good!

If you’re unlucky with the filled doughnuts, then order the other ones on the spot such as the Homer Doughnut, which is like eating a doughnut topped with Yan Yan strawberry dip and looks like what Homer Simpson has been eating. Or get the Fruity Pebbles, which is topped with white chocolate and fruit cereals.

Aside from doughnuts, Bungalow also bakes amazing pastries. My favorites include their Croissant (buttery and flaky!), Half Baked Cookies (gooey!), and Napoleones (flaky and has a velvety diplomat cream).

Look at all those baked goodies!

You can also have any meal at Bungalow. My favorites there include Buttermilk Fried Chicken, which is half chicken that’s crisp, juicy, and tender. It comes with two homemade blueberry cornbread, which is grainy and slightly fruity and tart due to the blueberries. I like both the chicken and cornbread!

Another favorite is The Burger. It has a 100% beef patty that’s thick and juicy, sandwiched between two soft and chewy potato buns. The veggies add crispness, the cheese has a nice funk, and the fried on the side are super crisp.

To wash down all the food, you can order fresh juices, milkshakes (though that’s heavy), and even cocktails.

Some Drinks at Bungalow

Bungalow Cafe & Bakery is a must-visit for its doughnuts, pastries, and breakfast/brunch items when you’re in the south of the Metro. I hope they open a branch in Makati or somewhere nearer to my place. If only gas and toll were lower, I would’ve frequented Bungalow a few more times. I highly recommend this spot to you!
